At the zoo today
We went to Boo at the Zoo today and had fun seeing the normally comatose animals running around. (It’s the cool weather.) Noah wet his pants for the first time since he was three but we were just about done in anyway so we didn’t mind heading home at that point.
Usually when we’re at the zoo I see one zillion pregnant women, which can be a little overwhelming. Today I saw plenty but I also noticed the plethora of transracial families. Some clearly adopted kids, some multicultural parents. Brett and I kept nudging each other. He said it makes him feel better knowing that we won’t exactly be alone in this.
We filled out the application this morning but we’ll have to check the budget to see when we have the $150 to send in with it. I’ll keep y’all posted!
