Fun with Noah
Today I stood Noah up on the dresser that’s in front of the big picture window in our living room and had him paint a Halloween picture. I love painting on glass — it’s so smooth and lovely when the light is shining through — and I thought he would like it, too.
He was thrilled. He loved standing up on something tall and he loved the way the colors stood out. He painted a witch with her cat, her monster-ghost sidekick, her wolf, her cauldron; a black sky; and a trio of demon pumpkin, squash, and carrot. Ooh, the horror of the Halloween carrot!
If you’ve got a big window or sliding doors, I highly recommend this activity. It’s a bitch to wash the window later but then, I like to think of it as a motivator for actually washing said window.

Um, all of your entry text (the body, not the titles) is white-on-white for me. I have to highlight an entry with my mouse before I can see the words…
Hey…what kind of paint did you use for that? That sounds fun!
