		<description>I only have a moment, so please don't quote, but  my worst parenting advice came from my mother-in-law. Her convictions about the "normalcy" of bottle-feeding were the primary reason I switched my oldest child from breast to bottle by the time he was six months old.

With my second baby, I had grown more stubborn and confident as a mother, and I *never* gave him a bottle or pacifier. I think it's a shame when the older generation inflicts its parenting deficiencies upon new mothers.</description>
